Join Bruce Marshall at Striped Pig Distillery for an art show on May 25th . Marshall uses materials such as local stone, driftwood, shells, and rusted metal, making him a ?scavenger by nature? who is fascinated by the contrast between rust and wood. Vibrant and striking pieces are the product of this fascination and the beauty of contrast shows through in Marshall?s work.
Marshall is a self-taught artist who works with whatever amuses him at the time, whether it is treasures that show up on the shoreline or something he finds in his garage studio, it has the potential to tell a story. Marshall says that ?the art pieces are just part of the details of those stories.?
